Background

Many people visit the agency throughout the year, and the employees of GSD&M are always eager to give suggestions about their favorite places to hang out. The site was concepted as part of a welcome package to visitors.

The Project

Markers are plotted on a Google map to show the almost 70 favorite local hot spots. The markers are color-coded based on their category (Dine, Drink, Music, and Explore) and then filterable by a plethora of subcategories. Selecting a marker displays images of the locale as well as the location’s address and telephone number.

Fun Fact

The Google map changes skins based on the time of day.
